based on The Final Report of ADB's Technical Assistant Project (TA-8175 PRC: Improving China´s Environmental Statistics Institutional Framework) car r ied out by Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning in collaboration with the experts from Inter- Governmental Organizations (e.g. OECD) and national institutes (e.g. China's National Environmental Monitoring Center and South China Institute of Environmental Science). This project aims at reviewing the shortcomings of current environmental statistics institutional framework and draw on international experiences for reshaping the framework by proposing development roadmap and its implementation plan.
