Workshop on Market-based Instruments for Emission Reduction

The application of economic instruments is the latest development and trend in environmental policy reform and innovation. During the 11^th Five-Year Plan, with the urgent targets of energy-saving and emission reduction, the Chinese government has been actively developing market-based instruments. In this context, Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning of Ministry of Environmental Protection and School of Environment, Jilin University, are jointly holding the International Workshop on Market-based Instruments for Environmental Protection in China, which will be held in Changchun, Jilin Province on August 28-30.
