CAEP signed Strategic Cooperation Agreements with Huzhou Municipal People's Government and Anji County People's Government

Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning(CAEP) signed Strategic Cooperation Agreements with Huzhou Municipal People's Government and Anji County People's Government.To promote "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" practice innovation and the construction of beautiful Huzhou and beautiful Anji. Zhuang Guotai, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Chen Yijun, Deputy Governor of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, Ma Xiaohui, Secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, Wang Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of the Huzhou Municipal People’s Government, Shen Mingquan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Anji County Party Committee, Zhu Liusha, Deputy Mayor of Huzhou Municipal Government, Lu Jun,Secretary of the Party Committee of CAEP, Wang Jinnan, President of CAEP, Wang Dong, Deputy Chief Engineer of CAEP and other representatives of related units attended the signing ceremony.

Anji is the birthplace of the theory of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".It has always been a model on the road of "Two Mountains" practice, and its successful experience has been widely publicized by the media and has been recognized by many parties.Creating beautiful Huzhou and Beautiful Anji with blue sky, green ground and clear water is the persistent goal of the Huzhou Municipal People's Government and Anji County People's Government , a vivid display of the transformation of the two mountains in the country, and the mission and responsibility of CAEP as a top environmental think tank. Recent years, CAEP successively undertook the construction plans of the "two mountains" practice innovation bases in Huzhou and Anji. It summarized the successful experience obtained at different levels of prefectures, cities, districts, counties, and villages, studied the transformation ways and methods of "two mountains", and provided technical support for the "two mountains" practice conversion work in Huzhou and Anji.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Xi Jinping’s "Two Mountains Theory", the signing of strategic cooperation agreements with Huzhou Municipal People's Government and Anji County People's Governmen is of great significance.The two sides will further utilize their respective advantages to tackle key problems, provide reproducible and extendable experience for the national overall promotion of high-level protection of the ecological environment and high-quality economic development.
