Center for Soil Protection and Landscape Design

CSPLD conducted investigation and assessment of large tracts of polluted land and agricultural land, promoted research and development of restoration and risk management and carried out demonstrations. CSPLD provided planning, policies, administrative and technical support for national and regional prevention and control of heavy metal pollution. For soil environmental protection, CSPLD undertook the responsibilities of planning, policy-making, examining and evaluation. CSPLD also worked on the environment-friendly remediation of polluted soil and underground water with sustainability risk management and assessment. CSPLD provided technical support for design and restoration of ecological landscapes such as brownfield lands, industrial parks, river basins, and mining areas.
