Center for Carbon Neutrality

CCN carried out fundamental research on the implementation path for climate change. To optimize the path for reaching carbon peak and carbon neutrality, CCN conducted a systematic research in the aspects of society, economy, energy, emission and environment. In addition, CCN carried out a comprehensive study of policy, system and standard in response to climate change. Some other tasks were also performed, such as rapid situation analysis and performance evaluation of carbon emissions of different administrative units, including China as a whole, and its provinces and cities. CCN also functioned as the secretariat of the Climate Change Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES).
