Institute of Strategic Planning

It is responsible for the strategic research for the national ecological environmental protection, safe ecological environment, beautiful China and regional and industry mid- and long-term ecological environmental protection; the overall planning and research for the national ecological environmental protection; the planning and research for the regional, city cluster, and urban ecological environment; the technical support for the national major development strategies on ecological environment planning; entrusted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to lead the preparation and review of special plans for the eco-environment; the research on ecological environment management and control of land and space planning; the technical support for the preparation and implementation of “three lines and one list”; the research on theory, technical methods, norms and management systems of ecological environment planning; and undertaking the work of the Secretariat of the Professional Comittee of Environmental Planning , Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences.
