Center of Environment Planning and Policy Simulation

CEPPS is responsible for organizing and conducting the research on the prediction and simulation of national, regional, and industrial ecological environment; organizing and conducting the research on the basic theory and model method of ecological environment prediction and policy simulation; establishing ecological environment big data, simulation models and decision support platforms; carrying out the simulation analysis of the impact of different planning objectives and policies means on the economic, social and ecological environment; conducting the research on ecological environment carrying capacity evaluation and early warning; organizing the research and development of ecological environment targeted governance technologies such as big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence; establishing and managing the key laboratories for environmental planning and policy simulation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China.
