Research on the Environmental Emergency Management During the COVID-19 Period

The COVID-19 pandemic is a complex crisis with large environmental risks, it is of great significance to evaluate and summarize the current progress of environmental emergency management policy and identify the deficiencies and shortcomings in China's environmental emergency management in the face of major epidemic. Based on the analysis of the environmental impact of COVID-19 and the progress of emergency response measures, this paper summarizes the experience and deficiencies of environmental emergency management under major covid-19 outbreaks. It is suggested that China should improve the environmental emergency response mechanism, strengthen capacity building and perfect the guarantee system for the environmental emergency in response to major epidemics.
