CAEP Rewarded with the Award of
“Outstanding Contribution to the 13th World Lake Congress”
The 13th World Lake Congress was successfully held in Wuhan on November 1-5, 2009, which was considered as a major event in China’s environmental protection career by Mr Zhou Shengxian, Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The session with the subject of "Lake Water Quality Planning and Investment and Financing Policies" assumed by Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning (CAEP) attracted a large number of participants. In the session, Chinese and foreign well-known experts made wonderful speeches and intensive discussion on how to use market-based instruments to rehabilitate lakes, which were widely acclaimed by the participants. For the effort CAEP made to the 13th World Lake Congress, the Organizing Committee of the Congress hereby rewarded CAEP and its Vice President Wang Jinnan with the award of “Outstanding Contribution to the 13th World Lake Congress”
